Parental Control Setup

SETAR Cable services offer parents the option to protect the use of their television for specific content. You will need to program a PIN through your remote control on your television. Why do you need a PIN? A PIN is necessary in order for you to lock a channel, title, rating or content.

To block Rated R programs with adult contents the following steps have to be taken:

• Click 2 times on Menu to enter the Main Menu
• Select Parental Control Setup
• Insert the PIN of 4 numbers
• Select Lokcing to activate of deactivate Parental Control
• Select Locking option:
  • Lock Rating
  • Lock Time
  • Lock Channels
  • Hide Titles

SETAR does advise all parents that have young children at home, to use the Parental Control Setup.

High-Definition Channels

If you own a High-Definition TV than you will be able to watch all the HD channels of SETAR Cable Services. With HD, you see images at a higher resolution than you have ever viewed on a home screen before. The use of a HD Digital Video Recorder (DVR) is required for viewing HD channels. These HD channels are delivered in a crystal clear, widescreen format, with CD quality sound: as if a movie theater was dropped in your living room.
