iProtect is an industrial security system including:

 How it works
The system operates from a central server to PC stations, and is completely web-enabled (making it location independent), with information transmitted via the Internet Protocol. Communications are secure through the use of SSL. The system is fully scalable and can be implemented on a step-by-step basis.

For small companies: In the scenario where there are a limited number of employees, access control and time and attendance management remain a priority. Card systems and video monitoring (CCTV) allow the registration of the who, where, and when of entry. With limited capital and space considerations, SETAR is able to host the application as well as integrate existing security systems into the program.

For large businesses: A large number of employees as well as customer visits demand monitoring at all points, from number plate registration in the parking area to the recording of the quantity of individuals at any one point; from the security of assets (including small equipments, such as laptops) to system management (such as setting controls of generators, air-conditioning, etc.) iProtect allows for a comprehensive approach, reporting simultaneously on several branches and locations. For additional security, the server can be kept on property, with SETAR available to provide maintenance and assistance whenever necessary.

Proven Technology
As a pilot project, SETAR installed the system within its own locations, with a total of 33 sites now linked on iProtect. Within the five years that it has been utilized, SETAR has, for example, been able to not only monitor traffic into its offices, but also secure its cabinets found through the island – from Bushiribana to Santo di Patia – and ensure greater protection of services to both residential and business clients.
