Key Systems

keysystems

Key System is a telephone system that is best known for the phones that can call inside an organization and place calls outside through the public telephone network. A Key System is in the same category as a PBX, except that Key Systems relies on SETAR’s switching equipment, while PBXs rely on a central control unit located at the customer site. Key systems also do not require dialing a number to gain an outside line since all lines are already directly connected to SETAR’s central office. On a PBX system, lines are connected to the PBX and the PBX makes connections to SETAR’s central office when the outside number is dialed. Key systems are an efficient, cost-effective solution for businesses with fewer than 100 employees in a single location, such as retailers, physicians, dentists, attorneys, realtors and service companies.

Key systems allow employees to share a group of phone lines while having access to a truly modern and versatile telecommunications system with features such as:

  • Intercom
  • Voice Mail
  • CallerID
  • Paging
  • Least-cost Routing Options

SETAR offers communications capabilities through advanced phone systems, whether you are working at home or in an office. For more information please contact our sales department at 525-1500 or email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
